Foodservice voluntarily chose to have AIB
International conduct a Food
Safety
Audit at our facility in
South
Windsor
,
CT
on
January 26th and 27th,
2010.
This audit provided us with a
comprehensive review of the strength of
our
commitment to food safety and sanitation.
It involved an exhaustive inspection of
our physical plant, and a thorough review of all
food safety related company policies,
procedures, and employee training.
The
audit focuses on five major categories, each
valued at a maximum of 200 points.
Overall scores of less than 700
points are Unsatisfactory, a score of 700
- 795 considered a Pass,
800
- 895 Excellent, and a score of 900
- 1,000 points considered
Superior
.
Based
on the observations made, the information
obtained, and the criteria set forth in the AIB
Consolidated Standards for Inspection: Food
Distribution Centers, the overall food safety
level of our facility was considered to be Superior.
