Foodservice has an immediate opening for an Inside
Sales Representative to join their team.
This is a full-time position.
Essential
duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are
not limited to the following:
- Primary
responsibility to support multiple sales territories.
- Establish
and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Process
customer orders with a high level of accuracy and in a
timely manner.
- Properly
respond to customer inquiries regarding sales, products or
services required for individual customers, and follows
through to assure those inquiries are resolved to the
customer’s satisfaction.
- Required
to support other company initiatives when directed.
- Must
be well organized, work at a level of high accuracy, and
possess a sense of urgency when dealing with customer
needs and requests.
- Required
to regularly attend Sales Training Sessions and meetings,
and engage in sales initiatives as directed by the Company
Sales Plan.
Candidate
must have ability to solve practical problems and deal with a
variety of situations and problems concurrently. Ability to
interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written,
oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to sell yourself and
ideas to customers. Effective
negotiating, problem-resolution and persuasion skills.
Excellent customer service presence and people skills.
Proficient in MS Office; experience with AS400 helpful.
Must possess competent phone and clerical skills.
Minimum of
one year Customer Service experience, full line food service
distributor experience preferred.
High School diploma required.
Associates degree or equivalent years of business
experience preferred.
